Hello, this video is fantastic!!! I´m not native with english so reading rulebook is sometimes difficulte to understand correctly how to play. With your interactive examples it is very easy. I´m curious about barbarian surviving in next video 😃 I´m going to look forward to this game more and more. Thanks

Ps I am so looking forward to fulfillment of this game. Big shout out to Shadowborne games for the commitment and love they've put into this game and how they've been transparent and upfront with the problems they've faced due to the global shipping situation. Even though I'm repeating myself (from Video Part 6): Grandios videos, a joy to watch. After rewatching them more times than I'm proud to count (to ease the wait), I got another question: In combat resolution, while you are allowed to mix cards an dice, are you also allowed to switch from cards to dice in crit resolution when your Las-Vegas-level card counting skills tell you that there's nothing good left in the stack? Have a nice day!
@adventuresincreativesoftwa6283
3 жыл бұрын
That's funny, I'd been wondering the exact same thing! With only 3 crit cards in each might deck, using dice for crit resolution might make crit-chains a bit less rare. There's nothing in the rulebook which explicitly forbids it, so unless the designer says it's against the spirit of the game, I guess it's allowed. I do hope the game eventually gets an FAQ.

Awesome game and videos… :-D Just a question. The Ranger plays longshot and increases the range 4 with „Short bow“. After that, longshot goes to battleflow position 1 but not the „short bow“. Shouldn‘t go both of them? Thank you in advance and best regards!
@adventuresincreativesoftwa6283

If you play an item card for its ability (i.e. the text at the bottom), then yes: you must pay the animus cost, and place the card on cooldown. (There's an example of that, with the Ranger's bow, in the next video). But you don't play item cards for their passive effects (range, might cubes, and defense values). Hope this helps.

at 28:41 Headbutt ability shows that it is an interrupt ability that can be used "after an adjacent enemy DRAWS damage." You played it after the enemy REVEALED the damage that they drew. Which is it? It should be written so it cannot be misunderstood.

why not just apply the golden North West rule to determine the correct destination hex rather than each step of the way for enemy movement? I can't think of any example where you don't end up at the Northern most/Western most destination hex (out of two options) by following the North West rule along the way.
@adventuresincreativesoftwa6283
2 жыл бұрын
Firstly, the movement rules determine the enemy's path, not just their destination. Secondly, there could be cases where the correct destination hex might not be the most northern/western one. Here's an example: drive.google.com/file/d/1K2Hq6ha0kAYyC5kaIK4GY7ubsxsHo8-d/view But as mentioned in the video, you don't have to calculate the path one step at a time, if you don't want to. Any approach is good, as long as you find the one correct path. Good luck, and thanks for the feedback.

I was looking through this again to catch whatever error I may have made. You play two ability cards for the Ranger in one turn. According to the rulebook you can only play one ability card pr. Turn. Or have I misunderstood something?

The Ranger plays 2 turns in a row, which is fine, provided all players agree.

@@adventuresincreativesoftwa6283 Okay.. I think I'm missing something fundamental here. So the Oathsworn phase could go Player 1 moves and attacks, player 2 moves and attacks, player 3 moves and attacks, player 1 attacks, player 3 moves, player 2 attacks.. THEN Encounter phase?
@adventuresincreativesoftwa6283

@@theblaznee Indeed. I had a crack at summarizing this - at 01:08 - but the rulebook does a better (and more detailed) job. See page 8, 'Oathsworn Phase'. Hope you're enjoying the game.
