This is the only video I found where OAuth 2 is done by logging in from frontend to backend(react to spring) . Thanks a lot

Nice Vide man, if you expand this to include local login (custom user registration and login) in addition to the providers, that would be awesome :)

Can you extend this example with jwt token based security means normal token based and oauth 2

Hello great tutorial. I have a question can we use JWT token instead of like doing it with cookies? And also can we have username and password authentication with this flow also. And a last question can we like have login page on react side and from there we redirect?

Great tutorial, works with java 11 as well. I manage to make it working after several retries. Maybe a good thing to remind, as the author also explain is that this is very lightweight security and if you want to protect your REST API, you should go with the oauth2 resource server, instead of oauth2 client. Apart from that, this example is great for small personal projects, to apply some protection and login mechanism, all though is not recommended for production systems I think. Thank you for the nice tutorial.

Hi thank you for your good explanation. However I wonder that how can i use it with jwt authentication together? After logged in via social media how can i get token? Also when I logged in via oauth2 user will not have a password. How will i handle it? Thanks.

Very useful for FS developers and thank you so much. I am requesting to make the same video with the JWT bearer token as well with OAuth.

Nice Explanation. Is it possible to open up the GitHub page on a new pop-up window and close it upon successful authorization?

Great video! Is it possible to have the "/login" page to be in react instead of in an html file inside of the spring project?

Hi!) Spring Security OAuth 2 client form only sends the request to /oauth2/authorization/google endpoing, which starts the Authorization code grant auth flow. If you want to manage login on frontent, just put Sign Up With Google to react form - and it will work. But redirect from backend to frontent after login is still required
