Kishane is very promising, and he has shown that he has the potential of becoming a world beater, but I don't think he will beat Oblique at his best, I think Oblique is ahead right now. Oblique has the global championship experience plus he's more consistent with running under 10.00. Unless Kishane can prove me wrong, my money is on Oblique.

Listen, I was all on board when it came through. Oblique Seville after seeing him. Dismantle three top tier sprinters and did it smoothly and easily. He made some mistakes and didn't make it on today. Metal podium but I never lost faith in them. When worlds came around he did the same thing that he did the year before. He impressed us all through the rounds and even ran easiest 9:86 I had seen since Usain, Yohan, and Tyson Gay. But then this youngster came around and ran down Christian Coleman and he had a terrible. One thing I've noticed about this new kid. He has a terrible start and it needs to be fixed. He always comes from behind and literally almost completely at the back. He caught Christian Coleman and Noah 0:12 from almost all the from the back. I'm completely sold on him and believe that him and Oblique with reign supreme in France. I know his coach has to concentrate on his start then if there's any improvement on a start he's probably going to run alone. 9:70

Kishane is young and I think Franno will smooth out his race. Both athletes appear to be competing for the next couple years. I agree, our 200m is where our biggest issue is because the 200m helps the 100m. We barely had two athletes even hitting the qualifying mark last year. Not to worry though, there is someone being groomed to take up the mantle in the 200m in next couple years and will be ready by and before 2028 Olympics. 😊

Well, all these magnificent performances and world record by the great man - he paid for all these with many injuries. He's humble, so he doesn't comes out to the media and made excuses that he missed huge chunk of training sessions during the winter (strength conditioning) months, he just take his poor performances (by his lofty standards) on the chin like the true pro that he is. Bolt yow!

If Kishane can get to a bullet start ,he will be unbeatable....only N.Lyles has the finishing speed he has,he also is not intimidated by anyone..Seville on the other hand seem to not have the confidence whenever he goes up against the top sprinters...Oblique also could improve on his start ...the middle of his races are great but the last 10m is lacking focus.

Lyles is going to see that 19.19 and bless it. In order for anyone to break Bolt's 200 he must be able to run low 9.6s. He also need a better starting mechanism. Focusing on 1 event is less work. This younger generation doesn't like hard work. I'm not seeing anyone that's on fire to break records. I'm guessing on this but I'd say Seville is going to be the one to beat but don't sleep on Kishane. Sir Mills has proven himself has the better male coach so anyone coming out of his camp is going to be hard to beat. Video ended prematurely.

Bredren, dem yanks talk too much - yea straight. Last year at the Worlds him talking up how him gonna do this/that. He struggled after completing the 100 & 200 and wasn't even gonna do the 4x1 - because of weariness and fatigue. He must be now seeing that Bolt is made of rare special stuff, because Bolt nuh only break the 3 wr them in 2008, di man repeat the same feat in Berlin 2009. I reckon these past performances by Bolt must have humbled Lyles - needs to shut his trap and go out there and perform.

It's a little early and unfair, to be doing that to Kishane Thompson, after one season of one off races.Plus the GOAT said he has vulnerability against too many races. He needs time to condition himself to sustainability, but when he does, watch out for both Thompsons male and female atop the sprint podium. But, remember, one is a Herah.

Btw, I BELIEVE THAT ALL COACHES RUNNING TRACK AND FIELD TRAINING CAMPS, SHOULD INVEST IN COMMUNICATION SKILLS FOR OUR ATHLETES. IT IS TOO EMBARRASSING WHEN THEY ARE BEING INTERVIEWED BY THE FOREIGN PRESS, AND THEY CAN'T EXPRESS THEMSELVES.THEY NEED EVEN BASIC COMMUNICATION SKILLS.THE PATOIS IS OURS, BUT I AM SURE, THEY ARE NOT PLANNING TO JUST RUN IN JAMAICA ALONE. TIME NOW, THEY NEED TO BE MORE ARTICULATE. ENOUGH OF THE RECITATION GIVEN TO THEM BY THE COACHES.WE ARE NOW LIVING IN A SMALLER WORLD BECAUSE OF SOCIAL MEDIA.
