I think 200 years from now, when they're finally giving sci-fi the recognition and awards it has deserved for half a century already, this will be considered a masterpiece of motion picture making and the soundtrack will be hailed as an icon in music history. The title track, "Oblivion" with Susanne Sundfor on lead vocals, haunts me relentlessly. Its message and the mood -setting ambience of the backing vocals and instrumentation are stunningly beautiful. I'm like you; I just can't leave it alone, because it just will not leave me alone.

I watched this movie over and over in the hospital right before my Brain Surgery in 2014. It is very personal for me. I went into deep sleep thinking of this movie about how precious life on earth is and it could all be taken away in a blink of an eye.

"Earth is a memory worth fighting for" - wow, wasn't aware of that movie statement before. Fits perfectly to the premise and especially the conclusion of the movie. "For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

"Earth. After the war. 3 years have passed since I saw your face. I wonder if I come to you at night as dreams. In the days as memories. Do I haunt your hours the way you haunted mine? And I wonder if you see me when you look at *Her?* If we have souls, they are made if the love we share. Undimmed by time, unbound by death. For 3 years, I searched for the house *He* built. I knew it had to be there... Because I know Him. ... I *am* Him. ... *I am Jack Harper, and I Am Home.* "

This is such a good movie. I can watch over and over. Part of that is the astonishing soundtrack. I love it. I listen to this actual video when I am working on the laptop. I looked back to when it came out and one critic said the film was visually impressive but the music spoiled it for them. Truly perplexing. One of the most underrated and below the radar films around.

Oblivion is one of the greatest romantic movies of all time. "Dream of us" "What make you think he's different; She does" and with "There you are, there you are" the beauty turns the "beast" into a prince.

"This EPIC Sound Track of the Movie named Oblivion congers up in my mind all kinds of imagery and story as follows .....The legend has it that at one time in human history when the darkness of night with a full moon swept over the landscape of some designated area on this good earth which happened to be a telling sign sent out from everywhere to summon all of Earth's living beings from the smallest to the biggest. From the shortest to the tallest, it did not matter. All living things at the time were magnetically and you could say telepathically summoned to meet and to gather around the great chosen no-name forest of this good Earth to listen to pay homage to her and she whispered in the wind great things to give all hope to live living on this good earth we all call our home " Barry Anderson of Phuket Thailand

Did you know that Joseph Trapanese did most of the soundtrack for Tron Legacy? Daft Punk got credited with the soundtrack, but you can hear Joseph's trademark sound all over Tron Legacy's soundtrack. But Daft Punk markets better. P.S. he also did the soundtrack for the animated series Tron Uprising. Shame it got cancelled. :P

On the contrary; Joseph Trapanese arranged and orchestrated Daft Punk's music for *Tron: Legacy* -- sure, it may be a little more in line with his own electronic sounds, but Daft Punk ultimately did write it (Thomas Bangalter wrote the protagonists' themes while Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo focused on the darker cues). Whoever thinks that they were hired merely for marketing while Trapanese really wrote the score really needs to double-check on their sources. #FacepalmSupreme! 🤦♂️

Nice, romantic ambient sci-fi score. M.83's work isn't nearly as impressive as Daft Punk's score for *Tron: Legacy* back in '10, but it's still solid enough to stand on its own. Thanks for sharing.

the real future of mankind is predicted in the bible , but mankind or the good part of it those truly wanting to live in peace and do as god directs will live in a new earthly paradise and its round the corner ,psalms 37 verse 29 is the outcome, as for the government's and wicked people they will be gone for good psalms 37 verses 10 and 11 , no human government can do this ,this is why were a failure in society , the government's are gone also Daniel 2 verse 44 ,check this out in your bible ,
