Hey man we’re does the (Convenience harness) connect too? your saying grey box?, does that harness plug and play into a W/T manual truck I’m trying to do a OEM conversion on my truck and I have a parts truck with everything just wanted to verify before I start the job

grey box is part of the harness itself..if your going to power from manual you need the harness with that gray box..it runs along the firewall on the inside from driver to passenger side A pillars..then the doors each have their own harnesses that plug into the conveinance harness..this is for 95 and up ..88-94 you just need the power door harnesses and they plug into the gray box under the dash

@@tandjperformancesouthfloridahey boss I have a 1999 gmc sierra c3500 4 door crew cab. If I pull the whole convince harness and the doors off of a suburban and swap them over how would the speakers on the rear doors connect to my stereo since the w/t doesn’t have rear door speakers? Also what does the convenience grey box connect too? The fuse block?

@a1109101112 the suburban harness has an extra harness that plugs into the gray convenience center box that runs the rear ac and barn door locks as well as the rear speakers in the roof..most trucks came with the rear speakers in the doors but they weren't functional..depending on what trim level you ordered..the gray box unbolts from the firewall and comes out with the fusebox

@@tandjperformancesouthflorida thank you for your reply! I just checked my truck it’s a crew cab gmc sierra 1999 all manual but it has the convenience center, would I just have to get all the parts and wires and plug them in?

@a1109101112 no ..if yours is a manual window and locks truck you've gotta swap out the entire harness behind the firewall with the gray box and you'll need the harnesses that go in each of the doors
