As a new viewer I was unsure at first, but every episode has a few raw and vulnerable statements that keep me hooked. There is just something about a woman in her 20s saying "Cuz I am a Baby" and "Criminal Minds is a spin-off of Modern Family" with a straight face that is relateable to me. Kenny is also a profound soul.

Brooke talking about not being super affected by things that happen to her reminds me of a video I saw talking about how humans have a baseline of happiness/satisfaction levels that we always return to no matter what we go through. This is meant for us to recover from hardships but also works in the reverse. So we might have a moment of excitement when we get what we want but we’re never truly satisfied with it and that’s why so many people keep striving for more and more and it’s never enough. The only way to avoid this is to accept that nothing will permanently satisfy us in the way we think it will and to try to enjoy the present
