"April 2010 - Obsidian Entertainment presented a panel about the choice and reactivity within Alpha Protocol entitled, But thou Must! In attendance from Obsidian was Joseph Bulock [Cinematics Designer, Obsidian Entertainment], Shon Stewart [Lead Cinematics Animator, Obsidian Entertainment], Matt MacLean [Lead Systems Designer, Obsidian Entertainment], and Chris Avellone [Lead Designer, Obsidian Entertainment].
The entire Obsidian team does a great job of illustrating the challenge of offering choice in games. The panel covers off a great history of game choice with extensive attention to detail. Then dives in and shows how such choice is implemented into Alpha Protocol and how reactivity is handled. By the end, you've got a good idea on what they're trying to achieve with Alpha Protocol and really showing off how important choice is in the game."

This video was originally posted on a Sega blog 4 years ago. Having recently had the itch to replay Alpha Protocol again I went looking for this presentation clip online only to find it had been deleted. Luckily I'd saved it to my one of my hard drives back then so here it is once more.
If you've never played Alpha Protocol before, stop reading this right now and go buy it. It may not be the most polished game ever but the choices it presents you with and the various outcomes they lead to propel it above a lot of AAA titles. Truly a rough diamond of a game.
