Lots of Kefi (Spirit of Joy) Dancing with friends to the awesome music of The Olympians!!
The first song was "Never on Sunday", the dancers are dancing a variation of Misirlou, and the last segment of the video captured Tsiftetelli which is the name for Greek style Bellydance. This name comes from the Turkish word Chifteteli, which originally meant "two strings".
St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church sponsored the OC Greek Festival on May 16, 17 & 18 at Anaheim, California. The event provided delicious Greek foods and pastries, Greek Folk Dance Exhibitions, live music, dancing, cooking demonstrations, boutiques of various merchants with Greek and other interesting merchandise, Church Tours and Zorba's Kids Carnival and games. Entertainment provided by The Olympians, an awesome group of entertainers, and various other entertainers as well. A fun event for an entire family!! Video captured on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in HD.
