Cooking Octopus and Scallops in the Instant Pot with Firefighter Cafferata.
This dish is tasty with very few ingredients.
It does take 25 minutes in high pressure in the meat stew setting.
Follow my simple steps to perfect Octopus.
As a side note if you want to make this same dish I suggest during the 15 minute mark drop in the Scallops.
Ingredients:
Whole octopus (2.5 lbs) from whole foods $31. Just used tentacles
2 bottles of porcini mushrooms pasta sauce
1/2 olive oil
1/2 stick of butter
1 Bulb of fresh garlic
6 chopped color variety carrots
Seasoned with a tea spoon of black pepper
1/2 Scallops lightly seasoned with pepper
Cook on high pressure in meat stew setting.
