People who have made fun of low horsepower rated large displacement V8 gasoline engines have never driven one. The torque, the toughness, they are more motor than anyone thinks. Easy to underestimate.
@Colorado_Native
Күн бұрын
I agree. I will take one of those over a tiny displacement four cylinder with twin turbos and a supercharger any day. Plus the sound makes a big difference. Now, let's talk about repairing one. Yes, I know, my Jeep takes 16 spark plugs, but the torque of the V-8 makes all the difference.

I strongly believe it was the driver who made the Mercedes look so good. Sometimes people don't want to hear the truth about why someone can do something better. A lot of people used the excuse that you have x y and z on your truck and I don't. It really comes down to the driver. Back in the early 80s when I was drag racing after I did a lot of modifications and switched to strictly track tires I could not get my car to go any faster than it did before doing all that work. a good friend of mine asked me if I would let him take the car for the next round. He did and he took off a half a second. That's when I realized I have to learn to drive my car better. Since now we know there were no issues. I really enjoyed your video.

@TheMrDarius
12 сағат бұрын
@@fastinradfordable very true but with fuel injection you can maintain stoic throughout the day with any weather changes. With a carb you just get things in the ballpark and yeah they're easy to tune but fuel injection is easy to tune as well if you understand computers, understand fuel maps, and understand timing. Don't get me wrong I love carburetion and the fact you do t have to worry about software issues but with fuel injection you'll maintain precision in real time. Carburetion like I said you get it to a very close ballpark and they run indefinitely basically. Edit: I used the wrong form of the word weather like an idiot 😂😂😂

Watching this whilst using my recent acquisition of a Soviet C4313 multimeter from the 70's whilst circuit testing on a Raketa Amfibian quartz diver watch, most people over here in the UK think I am nutz loving all this old Soviet stuff lol The 4313 was a NOS never used, virgin with everything in waxed packets including the little tester glass bead resistors, all I had to do was solder in a 3xAA cell holder, give it a thorough clean as was immensely dusty and the plastic foam had turned to mush inside, working like a champ now :D :D :D
