Thanks for the upload. I'm looking forward to getting my 1975 Bentley T back from the painters and being able to drive it again. They have also been storing it for me while the garage in my new house was extended so it would fit !

I lost a Blade 350 quadcopter (as there were called in 2012) with a new GoPro 3 Black attached. It just flew away… TWICE! That was about £700 a pop each time.

Out of interest how do you find you are treated when driving your Rolls by other drivers? I too own a Silver Spirit, and often find that I’m not let out of junctions and have been deliberately cut up on the odd occasion. I suppose the Spirit is still in the realm of still appearing fairly modern, so the psychology behind it must be that it’s a posh toff in a Rolls Royce as opposed to an enthusiast 😂

I had a Silver Shadow ll 25 years ago and back then found everyone to be courteous. In the 3 years of owning the Silver Spirit lll I’ve found it’s now about 50/50 and have to assume everyone is in the 50% that don’t like the car before being proved otherwise. It’s a sad state of affairs but probably the time we are living in. People want things NOW and won’t wait and save up, so then hate you for having something they want.

I have a Brooklands and very rarely find other road users to be a problem. My friend has a Silver Spirit and she reckons it's 50/50. Maybe it's a badge thing...

Yes it is odd how it differs from car to car. It is unfortunate that this is the world we live in, although my Grandad owned an onyx green Shadow II in the 80s (bought at 18,000 mls and still fairly new), only to return to it one day in a public area, to find someone had dug their key along most of the panels. Seems to have been a long standing thing. To me, Bentley is the somewhat more reserved motor-car, whereas Rolls-Royce and it’s arguably ostentatious grille and mascot, has long represented “having made it”. I would agree envy is probably the main factor in bad reactions on the road - even if it did cost the same as a 3 series BMW which goes unnoticed!

Isn't it illegal to fly over people, property and public highways?
