YES, this IS indeed the cartoon I thought it was, with the famous Glow Worm song! I forgot about all the other parts but I certainly remembered the glow worm’s birthday party and he getting a “bulb” as his big birthday present, hence bringing on Shine little glow worm, glimmer. I did not realize this has been on you tube for two years now; thanks for posting. :)

Poor glow worm at the end, letting the black widow’s beauty get the better of him that he came to a gruesome end. Hopefully he got to glow away and “light the path below and above, leading everyone to love” in “Glow Worm Heaven, “ Ha ha.

He took them from 80s VHS tapes released by Worldvision Enterprises. These tapes are so obscure, that only private collectors have the hands on them and occasionally release them online. Like this user, for example

A spider is not an insect, it's an arachnid.

Right, because insects have six legs; spiders on the other hand, have eight as everyone knows. Some people do mistake them for insects.

That black widow spider is awfully sexy; to bad she's a bad guy or in her case a bad gal.

Technically, about the near end, the black widow spider is an arachnid, not a bug. There's a difference you know.

Yes, because spiders have eight legs, while insects have only six.
