I’m proud to train with the officers in my gym. We push hard, pick each other’s brains and try and simulate situations like me going for their gun. I pray they never need it, but if they do, I’m glad I get to help with their training.

Gotta be careful though, they don’t allow it in tournaments because if the person being slammed hits the ground hard enough with their head then it can cause some serious brain damage. Edit: I’m not saying it’s not a viable option for self defense but in a lawsuit happy culture we live in you may want to think twice before possibly turning a person into a vegetable.
