Thanks for the video, I will definitely use it to do that for the first time. But I have a doubt, as I'm not so studied in electronics. You installed a plugin for the door bell, and then while starting with Home, it's recognized through home bridge. How homebeidge knows that the installed pluging is for that door bell and not for other door bell you may have? In my case, I have 3 curtains I want to add in home, how I know which one I'm adding? @ReyG_HKSH
3 жыл бұрын
Hoobs is simply a variant of this version, created because setting up Homebridge was once a difficult/intimidating process for consumers. With this official image, that is no longer the case. Also, any updates will appear in this official Homebridge version before Hoobs. Hoobs also has fancy marketing and an all in one solution you can buy. I personally recommend this over Hoobs. Very helpful video. I will be setting up a HomeKit “home” someday soon and I’m looking for this kind of video. But I had to bail out early because the “music” loop drove me batty. I think young KZitemrs tend to think that a background loop is a good thing, but check out mature KZitemrs and you’ll see that they use it for between scenes and at times there is no narration, but rarely as a background.
