More than 400 firefighters continued efforts to control the Vista Fire burning in San Bernardino County, California, on Wednesday, July 10.
According to fire officials, the Vista Fire, which began July 7 on the south side of Lytle Creek, was approximately 2,354 acres in size and zero percent contained as of Wednesday morning after a night of “significant growth.”
Officials said “weather, deep terrain and very dry fuels will contribute to an anticipated increase in fire behavior” on Wednesday afternoon.
Footage taken by Chazz Sutton shows an aerial view of the fire from his flight heading for Los Angeles International Airport on Monday.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation as of Wednesday, according to officials.
