Ok SOOO I did not know Nightwish warrants the most music react vids, so I’ve been getting some comments saying the army will come after me for making a few cuts…🥴😅 I’ve uploaded a few vids that ended up getting blocked due to copyright and it’s a pain to have to go through the editing/uploading process over AND over, so to avoid that some cuts had to be made. But trust, I watched the entirety!

with Nightwish videos you're pretty safe. Usually no issues. If you want to pause now and then to share something (and prevent copyright) I know that most NW fans don't mind, but we do prefer that you then rewind5-10 seconds from where you stopped, so we can get back into the groove! :)
@garyballard179

Nightwish only ever does claims, not blocks. They've recognized how much the reaction community on KZitem increases their exposure (whereas some bigger American acts don't allow any "unauthorized" use of their _promotional videos_ 🤦) The only time a block should happen on a Nightwish video is on The Poet And The Pendulum, as a rapper sampled the song. Pretty much anything else the Nightwish Army suggests should be block-free. Labels are weird, and a lot of them don't get the concept of reaction channels. Most anything from Sony or Warner gets blocked, but European labels are more open-minded. Rammstein's label blocks reactions to their music videos, but usually leaves their live performance videos alone. Babymetal's fanbase has a website containing links to "reaction-safe" versions of their live videos. Labels Nuclear Blast and Napalm Records are pretty good about not blocking reactions; they've got a lot of artists like Nightwish, and a lot of "up-and-coming" artists that need the exposure. And Arjen of project Ayreon will personally clear up any copyright confusion on his videos. In most cases, however, merely pausing the video and commenting frequently is enough to prevent blocks (followed by the obligatory backing up a couple seconds so you don't interrupt the "flow" of the music [fans get silly sometimes]).

Yeah most of the NW fans don't mind too much as long as there is a reason, like copyright and such. There are some idiots who call themselves 'fans' but ignore those. To be safe though rewind just a touch after each pause and pause in breaks in singing and NEVER during the guitar solo (but that goes for most bands). When possible don't skip as you might miss integral parts of the performance, but as I say most will understand if you explain why. If he hasn't already Gabriel will tell you all you need to know about the band Nightwish and which route and songs you should listen to to continue your NW journey. Good reaction btw and hope you enjoy your adventure exploring NW.

Misa, just to let you know for more reactions, find a Fair Use notice to put at the beginning of a video. That way, you won't have issues with copyright for future reactions, as commentary is squarely an exception to copyright infringements. (Believe me, I've researched this, the legal aspect of Fair Use, and Nuclear Blast Records is pretty fair when it comes to Fair Use. I say to put a Fair Use notice just so you cover your behind.)

Hello Misa. Nightwish Army reporting from the Netherlands. Welcome to the wonderful world of Nightwish. They are from Finland. And they make Symphonic Metal. What you've heard here is just the tip of what this band can do. Nightwish really hits you in your heart. And that's what makes this band so unique. Her name is Floor Jansen and she is Dutch. There were 82,000 people there. I happily refer you to Gabriel Bardac's comment (he'll be here soon) for a list with lots of song suggestion. Watch out for the Nightwish Army. All I can say is, when the composer and keyboardist, Tuomas Holopainen, condenses 14.6 billion years of history into a 24 minute ode to Planet Earth...it is one of the most beautiful symphonic metal songs you will ever hear. Plus, Floor Jansen can do it all: Go from a low growl (Yours Is An Empty Hope) to a G6# (Bloodstock, 2018, Ghost Love Score). She also can sing in any style she wants, including opera, and yes, she's even sung the phonebook before, lol.

Regrettably it's the fact that so many people come to these 'reactions' now for Floor rather than for Nightwish, and, more importantly, that so many of the 'reactors' focus utterly on her rather than the other band members and on the composition, that will kill them. Idolatry directed at one individual has seen off so many bands and Floor will inevitably be tempted by a big offer from outside this 'metal' domain before long. That there will be no tour of the next album is surely a warning sign. Anyone who has not seen Nightwish live previously and is not seeing them now probably never will.

OnTheRocks is right, you know. The Army is coming. We appreciate looking at more and more souls and hearts being claimed by our Valkyrie Queen(known by some as being Floored), commenting on the chills/goosebumps(known, as way too many members of the army will let you know, as having a Floorgasm at that last note she hits in the song finale, unlike her turning from full on opera voice to gritty metal vocals, known as Floorplay. Yes. We love Floor Jansen related puns.), and if a reactor has something special/unique about them we do tend to stick around for quite a while. Your split screen reaction style is one of those interesting quirks you don't see often. Not dominating the screen, not just being a small face in the corner and showing off the video... Giving respect to the song you are reacting to, but keeping in mind that it's YOU people are here to see and if they just want to look at the video, they can go to the original and give it watch time. Perfect balance. Something to be appreciated.

@@public_misa Dimash is one of the other most reacted to people out there. Many love him. I find him too sad to watch, as I tend to look at things from a strange perspective and he seems to have been trained since childhood, depriving him of ever having been a child by being talented and having the stereotypical overbearing parents of a prodigy. I claim so as his singing is way too perfect. His scale is unbelievable and he can copy anything. The bad side of that is that he sings too perfectly. Nearly machine-like in his delivery. No cracks, no off note bits, no stutters, no breathiness... And that's what gives a singer soul. That's what conveys emotions. To my ear, his singing has become sterile. Dry. When a singer sings off by a tiny bit as if their throat was tightened, it automatically translates as being gripped by what they feel and getting slightly choked up. Dinmuhammed Kudaibergen has trained to such an extent that he lost that natural feel. Became expressionless. Doesn't make him a worse vocalist. Just a less emotionally impactful one. Compare how Dimash sings Opera 2 with how Vitaliy "Vitas" Grachev, who composed the piece, does it. Dimash does it perfectly like Vitas does, and in some live versions he even shows that he can outdo the original by going one note higher than him and holding it longer, but... Vitas makes you feel what he's singing. Even if you don't understand the Russian lyrics, you feel his loneliness, desperation, sadness, etc.

Nightwish Shadow Unit from Estonia reporting in ! 6'1'' Valkyrie Goddess spotted ! Gabriel Bardac entered ! Floor her name is derived from the Roman Goddess of Spring, Flora. Floor Jansen is called the Valkyrie Goddess of Metal and Empathy. Floor Jansen is a soprano, with a range of more than 4 octaves (Eb2 to F6). She can sing from classical to belting and raspy vocals like screaming and death growls. And she's also a voice coach and teacher to boot. Plus, huge vocal nerd 😉. Floor Jansen was the singer of the Dutch metal band After Forever from 1997 to early 2009. From 1999 she studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg with classmates Jacqueline Govaert and Danny Vera, where she graduated in 2003. She studied musical theatre and a year of opera. In addition to her activities at After Forever, she gave singing lessons. She plays guitar, piano and flute. On May 5, 2010, she presented her new band ReVamp, which was disbanded in September 2016. From 1 October 2012 Jansen replaced Anette Olzon (Second singer of Nightwish after Tarja) as singer of Nightwish during the Imaginaerum World Tour (And she had to learn the setlist in 48h). On October 9, 2013, it was announced that she would be the group's regular new front singer. In 2015, Nightwish released the album Endless Forms Most Beautiful with Jansen as lead singer. Nightwish's second studio album with Jansen as front singer, Human. :II: Nature., was released in April 2020. And the master of this magic is: Our Metal Mozart Tuomas Holopainen (founder, leader, keyboardist, songwriter and the main composer for Nightwish) Tuomas the keyboardist writes about 95% of Nightwish songs, music and lyrics. He also composes the music for the backing track they use. It is recorded in London with musicians from The London Philharmonics. Pip Williams helps with the orchestration. There are two London based choirs too on the backing track, the other one is a children's choir. And of course with a synth you can do a lot. This was recorded at the 2013 Wacken (pronounced Vahken) Open Air festival in Germany in front of an audience of 82,000 people. The fiery bull head is the symbol of the festival. We hope, that there is more coming. NWSU/FloorFan 🤘😎🤘.

If you continue down the Nightwish rabbit hole ( and I sincerely hope you do) you will be amazed at the variety and quality of their music. Let General Gabriel of the Nightwish army be your guide a he will give you links to the best versions and the best sound quality of their songs. As a general rule live songs from 2013 onwards are best. Really looking forward to your next Nightwish reaction. I’m sure you will do an awesome job. Liked and subscribed.

Hello! I think the world's best band. It was great to see that you enjoyed it too, even though you (I assume) don't usually listen to this kind of music. I also recommend checking out the masterpiece titled 'The Greatest Show on Earth'.

He name is Floor Jansen. Most of the fans, myself included, think she looks & sounds like a Valkyrie. The feeling you got listening to her is so common there is already a word for it, It's called a "floor-gasm".

Floor Jansen is probably the best contemporary singer ever. The only other singer I've known who can move through different singing genres so flawlessly is Freddie Mercury. On top of this talent, is also the fact that Floor is a professionally trained soprano singer. Seeing people have their first Floor-gasm is a blessing.

You won't get flagged for copyright with nightwish. So, don't sweat editing. The band truly appreciate reactors. So there's no need for cutting the reactions down. Plus, it kinda irks nightwish fans, who will absolutely flood your channel 😂 Nice reaction!

You're a K-pop stan? Which groups are your favourites? I was just a (symphonic) metal fan, with Nightwish definitely at the top. For funsies I tried K-pop, not expecting to like it. The quality of the productions is insane, and starting with Loona just before the OT12 debut, I just loved the story, the fandom interactions and theories. Then I found my current favourite group, Dreamcatcher. They have stories and the same attention to detail in their MV arcs, but darker and ... with a rock/metal vibe. So cool! I've even seen them live once, quite an experience! I also love Mamamoo and Brown Eyed Girls and low key like a bunch of others.

Now you are experiencing what the 82,000 concert goers were experiencing at the Sacked Open Air Music Fest fans felt! Nightwish is an experience... I will give you a little heads up...there was a 1 minute respite in the middle of the song that you skipped, and you skipped over the last 30+ seconds of the song. It's okay! Just do yourself a favor....listen to the whole song...Nightwish's music is a full body experience!!

Welcome to the Nightwish Army! Others will (and have) recommended some great songs you should look into by them, so I'll leave that to the others, and I'll steer you in a slightly different direction. Judging from your name, I'm guessing that you might be interested in looking into the rock and metal scene in Japan, if you're not already aware of several of them. The rock and metal scene in Japan is absolutely off the charts, especially the all-female bands, which will set you up for some shocks! The most prominent are Lovebites (all lyrics are in English, and all five members are absolute virtuosos, including one who is master level on guitar and classical piano - power metal, thrash metal, traditional metal, prog metal, and some symphonic metal similar to Nightwish, fronted by an R&B singer). Then there is Nemophila, also virtuoso musicians at every position (metalcore, thrash metal, traditional metal, pop metal, mixture of banshee-like growls and beautiful clean vocals, lyrics are a mix of Japanese and English). And bringing it down a step from metal into the world of hard rock, there is Band-Maid, featuring one of the best bassists in the world (who is also your namesake), as well as elite level musicians at lead guitar and drums. Hard rock, progressive rock, prog punk, pop rock, some metal influence. Lyrics are a mix of Japanese and English. Band-Maid will be embarking on a US tour starting in May and then later in September. Here are a few suggestions: Lovebites: Judgement Day (MV) kzitem.info/news/bejne/zmmrrZ6mZoJod34 Lovebites: A Frozen Serenade (Live) kzitem.info/news/bejne/optu1oWMrl-DgW0 Nemophila: Rise (MV) kzitem.info/news/bejne/03ppvIF3pl9qnHY Nemophila: Revive (MV) kzitem.info/news/bejne/26OI04qZbadia6w Band-Maid: Domination (Live) kzitem.info/news/bejne/spivt3eAp2ijjJw Band-Maid: Freedom (Live) kzitem.info/news/bejne/p36m23mnhnOUd5w

Yes, again a soul is taken by our Dutch Valkyrie Goddes of Metal, more Floor Jansen, watch the beste zangers 2019, she sings in different styles and different languages.. She sings O Mio Babbino Caro and from the gamecube game Final Fantasy Chronicals, Sound of the Wind.. there is even a video with all the endings of GLS and a video where she even sings the Yellow Pages on a radio-show. She is working on different projects of Ayreon too, Valley of the Queens and The Day The World Break Down are good ones to start with..She have her own YT channel with covers and new material..

Yeah Tuomas (the guy on keyboards and main writer) doesn't really write songs as much as composes musical works of art. When this piece was written he was very inspired by movie scores by people like Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean etc). Hence why this is called a score

"This woman is a woman!" Correction. She is the Valkyrie Queen Goddess of Metal. Her name is Floor Jansen (pronounced "Yahn-sen") and is considered by many to be the greatest female vocalist in metal (certainly the most versatile). This song is just a taste of her amazing talent and the musicianship of the band. By the way, those goosebumps you got from hearing her sing? We call that a Floorgasm.

The bass player and Floor Jansen sing together, on some songs. The song was written by the keyboard atrist, about his unrequited love for the first, fully operatic singer, Tarje. I concur. Floor Jansen is the Valkyrie Queen.
