Each action has an equal and opposite reaction. This statement of physics by Isaac newton also applies to real relationships. Even if you stay with someone until the end of your life, one of you will die, and the immense sadness you feel will be immeasurable. This is not a condemnation of love, for there is no defined purpose in life. Rather, this is an argument for it; negative emotions are something one must experience to grow. How you grow, in which direction you choose to set yourself down, is your own decision. But an object in motion will stay in motion, and an object that is still will stay still, until a force acts upon it. Both positive and negative emotions are forces that change you. Without emotion, you are static, bored, boring. Only accepting all emotions will allow you to live a fulfilling life. Yes, pain reminds you, the happiness you felt was real. Pain also reminds you that happiness still exists. And that pain, eventually, will lead to an equal and opposite reaction. So do not block out the pain that pushes you into motion.

Going to this movie was like a religious experience. I bought a ticket to a morning IMAX screening, there were maybe 10 people in the audience, nobody was talking or chewing loudly, for the duration of the movie I was transported to another world. After the movie ended, everyone shuffled out silently, I felt dumbfounded. When I walked outside there was a light drizzle, and I stralled home for an hour in the summer rain, without an umbrella, contemplating the movie....

Bogor (Sundanese: ᮘᮧᮌᮧᮁ, Dutch: Buitenzorg) is a city in the West Java province, Indonesia. Located around 60 kilometers (37 mi) south of the national capital of Jakarta, Bogor is the 6th largest city in the Jakarta metropolitan area and the 14th overall nationwide.[4] The city covers an area of 118.50 km2, and it had a population of 950,334 in the 2010 Census[5] and 1,043,070 in the 2020 Census.[6] The official estimate for mid 2022 is 1,099,422.[7] Bogor is an important economic, scientific, cultural, and tourist center, as well as a mountain resort. During the Middle Ages, the city served as the capital of the Sunda Kingdom (Indonesian: Kerajaan Sunda) and was called Pakuan Pajajaran or Dayeuh Pakuan. During the Dutch colonial era, it was named Buitenzorg ("without worries" in Dutch) and served as the summer residence of the Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies. With several hundred thousand people living on an area of about 20 km2 (7.7 sq mi), the central part of Bogor is one of the world's most densely populated areas. The city has a presidential palace and a botanical garden (Indonesian: Kebun Raya Bogor) - one of the oldest and largest in the world. It bears the nickname "Rainy City" (Kota Hujan), because of frequent rain showers, even during the dry season.

Why not take Daniel Craig playing the most convincing functional smileless loner agent even being among people and friends in Casino Royal. And your so blind not to see how Jake Gyllenhaal added to it a tinch of genuine self loathing in Nightcrawler, Bradley Cooper in Burnt, Jeremey Runner in Hurtlocker, heck even the struggling Tobey Maguire in Brothers. THE DIFFERENCE IS THOSE MOVIES HAD STORIES THAT I FELT I COULD CARE ABOUT AS A PERSON! 🍷Wake up.. the Gosling Blade runner replicant Matrix has you (Ya thats your big story right there how for no paticular reason LAPD uses tax money to hire boring replicants in the future that dont smile to just hunt other boring replicants WOW infact from now on just gonna call this thing Blade Runner - The Boring Club!)☹

@@varunemani yo chill dude. It has nothing to do with Gosling as a person it’s the character itself. I just relate to a blank slate character trying to find who they are. It’s my own personal analysis of it from my own personal experience. I also agree that Gyllenhaals performance in nightcrawler was absolutely fantastic, he completely captured the unhinged yet calculated personality Lou was supposed to have to operate as a metaphor for the 24 hour news media. But that’s nightcrawler, this is blade runner and I thought gosling did a good job. Maybe just try to remember in the future that everyone has their own opinions, nothing makes you objectively correct.

I remember a girl I was briefly dating told me that "You never smile", it was as if everything that’s made me lose my smile flashed back, I did smile at her once and she liked it but it’s still something I rarely do that many have mentioned.

I’ve watched this film more times than I can count and I’ve realised it’s because his story is so much like our own. Brought up to understand we are a single cell in a body, a small piece that makes the whole, but haunted by the reality that our dreams of being somebody special may be just dreams. That realisation is enough to make anybody feel alone. On the other hand; at least there is comfort in knowing that without you a piece of the puzzle is missing and thus incomplete. I think this explains the newer models demeanour in the film which is a sort of existential indifference?

Personally I was not a big fan of the plot, but I have to say, that I never watched a movie that was visually impressive than this masterpiece. Everytime I watch some scences I feel that something is deeply missing in my existence and it is a great achievement when a movie can let you feel like this. Hope some day, when I am finished with my novel I can reach people in a similar way. Sometimes the way a movie look is just art.
