I guess the canal over in Coshocton is good for pike. My dad used to tell me stories about going out with Mad Martin Jacobs (dad has a speech impediment, so that may not be his name) to clear the canal behind the Monticello, and catching monster pike while they were taking lunch breaks.

I've never fished that area. I'm always looking for places to catch pike besides the Lake Erie Tributaries. Great video.

Really great video! I don't like to keep bass but if you're obeying the law and being responsible about how many big bass you take out of small waters without hurting the population, I don't have a problem with it. You said you are in Wooster Ohio. That can't be apple creek, is it Killbuck creek?

hey its my other account. I really don't know, I'm on the complete other side. You can try big creeks, they hold a surprising amount of predatory fish. the creek I catch my pike out of is only as deep as my head in the deepest areas. good luck!

You release the Pike, but keep the bass to eat? lol... Have you tried Pike? Get that Y bone out and they are much better table fare.

I keep the pike that swallow the lures. In this stream I don't want to interfere with the pike numbers because you have to hunt for a while to actually catch one, whereas you catch bass all the time in killbuck. Pike are delicious :)

+Creek Fishers That's cool... I eat bass every once and awhile. I like white bass and hybrids a lot more. I may have to make a trip down to this creek sometime. I am from Canton. The Tusc River has a lot of pike but they are extremely hard to find. I went out yesterday with no luck. The Bolivar dam area and Sandy Creek also hold a nice number of pike. Berlin lake also has them in decent numbers. Last year, I only hooked into one on a day when I was targeting crappie.

Creek Fishers it is a great little creek off of high way 95 it has i small pull in were you can park and it is public hunting fishing ground and we've pulled some monster 30inch+ pike out of there with spinnerbaits and creek chubs and there is also some very large carp there two. looks may be deceiving since it is a very small creek only about 30 yards across.
