The sound and video quality is much nicer. Good luck selecting a new helmet to replace the one affected by the polar vortex.

Yeah, I did some looking and I guess helmets exposed to the cold can shrink if they are not made for it. This was a cheap line of Bell products so I am guessing that it did. Thanks!

The sound was way better on the 1080p glasses. I think they should make helmets with front and rear cameras like that.

That is a fantastic idea I don't know why no one has. I mean it would be easy and you can make the components removable for upgrading. Great idea!

LOL you are a funny Texan! Yeah, should be an improvement and the nice part is they leave my hands free should I want to record anything in the garage.

Yeah, and since they keep both hands free I am going to try using them around the shot to see how well they work there. Take it easy Ziggy!

Thanks for showing us these. I think it would make things a lot easier on the bike. The audio on the new ones is very good. I look forward to seeing them perform on the road. Have a great week my friend.

Thanks, since they leave my hands free I am going to start using them for stuff in the shop. Since before it was too hard to setup the camera and try and get the shot etc.. this is way easier and I would have both hands free. Anyway I feel its worth a try anyway. Happy Easter!

I do like how they keep both hands free. They don't have zoom as far as I can tell other than moving closer to the object that is. Take a look maybe it would be good for videoing work on the car. Happy Easter Sam!

Just a heads up I am uploading a video this weekend where I mention you. :) If the weather holds out over the next few days a ride video should be posted early next week Monday or Tuesday. Sooner if I can get to it. Take care man and Upload a video now and again! :)

That's really cool. I don't remember you doing a video of your glasses and I always was curious about them. The new one has really good audio. I should get one for myself. If you have a full face helmet with a visor the internal mic on the glasses might work without needing the zoom h1.
@MidwestMotoRider

Yeah, I did a video on the iVue back when I got them probably before you started following me. I am hoping it can work with out the Zoom as good as the audio is on that I really just want to put the glasses on and hit the record button. Cheers!

Thanks for the review. Have you found out how long the battery last?
@MidwestMotoRider
5 жыл бұрын
No actually I have not had a chance to test that. If its like my older pair it should be around 2 hours. However you can only record 30min at a time so on longer rides I will have to remember to stop/start every 29 or so minutes.

Do you think they would be worth having a prescription when splitting? And the ones with the better audio or the oho?
@MidwestMotoRider
5 жыл бұрын
Well I don't see why not. The lens are about the same size and thickness as my glasses. Plus it leaves both hands free for doing something other than holding the camera. The Oho 1080p seem to be pretty good. There are better ones these were just the best I could afford so look around. Hows it going feeling better? I sure hope so. Happy Easter!
