Now that we understand underground disposal of oilfield waste leads to EARTHQUAKES companies are hoping instead to dump straight up into Texas rivers. Two companies in West Texas hope to dump 18M gallons per day of oilfield wastewater into tributaries of the Pecos River. Deceleration happened to be flying our drone over the river recently (the 'deep' part right before it hooks up, at a trickle, with the Rio Grande River).
