Hello and welcome back to the studio for my oil painting tutorial series #8 "Sundown Serenade"! I am so happy you are here to paint or watch me paint. I thought we do another seascape today, I know right, another one? There is a reason for everything.. As a child, I grew up spending months at a time each summer, laying on the sandy beaches of Rocky Point, Mexico. Every summer, no matter where I am to this day, I long to be at the beach. So I gift you all with another sunset ocean oil painting tutorial. This one is a little longer today, so be sure to grab some snacks and get comfy.
Today you will watch me run in to some challenges then search for solutions to allow a beautiful end piece that will be sure to bring a smile to your face. Bright yet calming, you can almost hear those waves crashing in to the sand. Ahhhh take a deep breath and you can smell the surf.
