Oooh, fruit in Japan is sensational. Some of the very best, most consistently high quality in the world. The Dragonfruit in Ishigaki is fantastic. Such a fun video, thanks for inspiring me to start replenishing the savings account for my return trip next year. Love Ishigaki! 🗾🌴🤿🌞🌺🍜🍦

The fruits of Ishigaki Island are very delicious. Especially dragon fruit and mango. My favorite is the island banana. If you come to Ishigaki Island again, you should definitely try the island banana! Thanks for your comment!

The prices vary depending on the shop, but at cheaper stores, you can rent a bicycle for about 900 yen for 3 hours.

@@an9ielim With an international drivers license (1949 type), foreigners can rent a car for the equivalent of 30 British pounds a day. Yep, for a full day. Fuel in Japan is cheaper than in the UK too, which was most surprising. It's worth hiring a car. A bike in Ishigaki won't get you very far in the incredibly humid, hot summer heat. No chance. You might as well walk if you're going to stick to the port area. A car will get you all over the gentle, peaceful, safe roads of the entire island and I think you'd struggle horribly with a bicycle trying to get to, say, Yonehara Beach area.
