Kirk doesn't need lessons he needs to practice a bit and more than anything WRITE his solos and not improvise them, or at least not all of the parts. He's written amazing solos in the past from melodic stuff in power ballads or the Black Album to pretty technical stuff in RTL/MOP and above all AJFA. He's capable of way more than what he shows us there, he just got lazy or lost inspiration. A shame because he can be way more technical than people realize and also write very memorable melodies when he puts his mind or heart at it. Never liked Lars' playing but he got even worse.

It's a pretty easy song to figure out and play. However as with any Metallica song, it's fun to play as hell. Can't blame Ola for having so much fun with it.

Hey Ola, thanks for these videos. I used to learn songs from tutorial videos but your Ola learns videos inspired me to learn by ear. Even if i get the notes wrong, i understand how its played now, and its more fun this way. I have been able to learn songs from my local bands which have no tutorials online.

I rarely like a video, but I liked this one. Quick to market and very accurate.

I suppose it'll never happen, but this would've been a GREAT song for Metallica and Mustaine to finally collaborate on. Would've been sweet to extend the solo section to let Dave stretch out on it for a minute. The main riff is very Megadeth (and Motorhead obvs). I WANT A "METALLICA vs MEGADETH EXTENDED REMIX"!! It would break the internet.
