As one of the largest suburban districts in all of Charlotte, everyone knows Ballantyne, NC.
Although some say Ballantyne has already peaked in development, I wouldn’t say that’s not necessarily true… So, let’s take a look at Old Ballantyne vs. New Ballantyne!
We’re starting in one of the most notorious neighborhoods, Ballantyne Country Club. This neighborhood is filled with MASSIVE homes with a luxury price point of $1 Mill +, but the amenities included (golf course, pool, fitness center, tennis, and so much more) add so much value to this area! If you’re looking for privacy, big lots, and in a convenient location close to everything you need - this neighborhood may be the right fit for you!
The next stop on the old side of Ballantyne is a massive development called Stone Creek Ranch. This neighborhood is so big that it was broken into three sections offering a ton of diversity of homes and price points. The price per square foot ranges from $192 - $251. Walkability, incredible amenities such as walking trails and a community pool, and close in proximity to Waverly are just a few reasons why this neighborhood is still so popular.

The last stop on this tour is a new area in Ballantyne - let’s talk Waverly! This area was designed to bring people together and fully embody the “live, work, play” lifestyle in south charlotte. If you’re ever in Waverly, stop by Cafe Moka and Ted’s! This neighborhood offers a HUGE variety of homes from apartments and townhomes to luxury single-family homes. Townhomes will run you about $400k - $500k, and the single-family homes range from $700k - $800k. If you want convenience, this is the area for YOU!
