I played a Gretch Bobtail steel at a guitar shop. I thought it was a good sounding guitar that played real nicely. I played a few dates in Germany back in ‘87 and had a real good time there. Not sure if I played in The Black Forest Region but I enjoyed my time there a lot. Thanks again!

AHH that sweet vintage National 14 fret Duolian tone .. Very nice playing .May I ask what open tuning you are in and are you capoed , With all due respect for your Gift to us , Maybe next time you could get in the whole guitar neck Most of us are guitar geeks learning, and these awsome posts are very helpful ..THANK YOU SO MUCH Henry !

Hello, the guitar was tuned to open D with a capo on the second fret. Sorry about the poor recording technique, it was just my iPhone leaning on something. If I do make any more videos, I will strive for better quality. Thanks for watching and for your feedback, I appreciate it.

Please dont be sorry about the recording You do not need much for those baby's Its divine tone and national Growl comes out in spades The fact that you play well is a huge help and all you gotta do is back the cell phone up a bit to get the Whole neck in I am sure the mic in the phone will pick that vintage steel sound right up Thank you for getting back to me 😊
