This is the Ebeneser roundhouse built by the PRR and NOT the NYC. It’s off Mineral Springs road and is used even today. 👽

Regardless of which railroad used this facility during the steam locomotive era, it's wonderful to see that a 20-stall roundhouse and its turntable have survived. The coaling tower has been partly demolished, but its presence adds to the atmosphere.

My brother found out our maternal grandfather worked here as a clerk close to a 100 yrs ago. We’re from Baltimore but our mom was from Buffalo and her dad died in 1937 at 50 so we didn’t know him. Really cool to have this connection to him.

Rob Murdoch: There is a high rise skyline in this video. Downtown Buffalo is in the distance at 7:24, but we are so far away that it doesn't look like much. On the far left at 7:24 you can barely perceive a tower that stands off by itself. It's the Seneca One tower. It was originally built as the headquarters of Marine Midland Bank and is 530 feet tall.

Ebenezer Rail uses it to restore rail cars. That is why you can see some newer buildings also.
