In my opinion he is covering great topics and he has the mix of knowledge, and is good at explaining and he can make a 30 min video without being boring, not a lot of guys have all those skillks.

@@coachKeithKeppner thanks! I do have a question coach. What are your thoughts on Not stepping with the front foot or stepping with both feet when throwing the jab… when is the best time to use the stationary jab or do you recommend not using it ?

@@KINGKING-hh2bc Great question, for your first 10 to 20 fights. I strongly believe you need to learn how to step the jab with both feet and do it because they'll be a big limitation if you don't, particularly if you're anywhere near normal anatomy and not just some freak 6'7 guy that fights at 135 lb lol. Now a throwaway jab would be a jab that you use as a blinder or controller to keep or establish range and in that situation it would not make sense to step with it. Therefore, it's not something I spend a ton of time teaching because throwing a jab without moving is much less complex

Enjoying the videos. Good stuff. I feel like they should teach newbies defense before how to punch.

Thanks! There is some truth to that. At the end of the day you can be a crazy aggressive fighter and just outlands and out punch but if you are a crazy defensive fighter, but don't punch or land enough you don't win. Let me know if there's anything you want me to make a video about. Love, any and all ideas!

Actually the peekboo style is the most effective style for the smaller inside fighter but it does lack versatility. it should include more catching and parrying as well as more riing movement off the the back foot to lure an opponent into a shot instead always coming foward can be taxing and predictable i always felt like inside fighters are the most neglected when it comes to being taught versatility in they're styles even joe Frazier lacked ring movement fighting off the back foot because he was taught to walk down all his opponents im not saying it doesn't work but the higher you go in levels you wanna have back foot movement to your arsenal to change up your patterns. Sweet pea is a good example.

I'll definitely hear what you're saying, you have to understand that in the beginning you're saying peekaboo style is the most effective style for a short fighter, but then you're also saying that the most effective style for a short fighter would be a combination of styles that is good boxing. I hope you get what I'm saying
