That’s not that long ago, I cannot imagine driving on top of the standing crop was ever a good idea. Non wilted grass not on a concrete base! Winters on NZ must be very dry, all I can see is a lot of soil contamination through the pit.

Jaysus they are some messers, that's the roughest looking operation I've seen, that buck raking setup looks like hardship of Hardships.
