One's still going to be around in a few years, the other is a Pioneer! 😂

I remember the days with the Citronic, having to carry it up 4 flights of stairs before even bringing in the record collection and lighting set ups. Wouldn't dream of it now. Thanks for the memories 😉

Fiver a pint? Maybe up north. Regularly paying £6+ down in Bournemouth now. London is over £7 a pint if not more in many places

Nice video, I wouldn't touch the pioneer to be honest (or anything pioneer for that matter but then I'm old and wise Lol ) the thing is the Citronic Avon console that you have there was the top of the pile at the time but most couldn't afford it, times and cash flow have changed drastically since then and people have more disposable income (and of course easier access to credit) The weight of the records didn't bother us then either, 4-500 7" singles and 3-400 12's was common for a mobile Dj, Modern Dj's bitch about how much weight Dj's carried back then in records and amplifiers (my backs hurting just looking at that being the most common comment) , and in their own personal sound system they hump about a big pile of folded horns with the mids and horns to match, go figure? That Citronic Avon will be around a lot longer than the Pioneer that's for sure, Oh and most of us back then mixed quite nicely on the early Citronic consoles even without the vary speed :-) Oh and a pint of Guinness in London is probably about 7 quid now :-)
