I bought an Old Town Sportsman PDL 120 yesterday and was barely able to leave the water. I can't believe how much water I covered in 4 hours compared to paddling. Keep it up Old Town, you guys have a lifelong customer here :)

What is the recommended anti-corrosion fluid? I use WD-40 Silicone and has worked great for me.

WD-40 is a great anti-corrosion lubricant.

WHat do you with the gel that comes with the 106 mk?

The prop pins and prop shafts both appear to be rusted. I appreciate that the prop pins can/should be replaced frequently, so making them from stainless steel might be overkill. Are (why aren't) the prop shafts made from non-rusting stainless steel?

a neat trick is to use that spray that protects from moisture and corrosion. Not wd40 but its another spray thats name escapes me. Navarre fishing mentioned it in his video on drive maintenance. Its kept my pins and shaft spotless.

@@Enough_Tumbleweed WD-40 offers two distinct sprays: the multi-use we're all familiar with, and their less-known Specialist Silicone.
