It's not what I need, but for anyone wanting to turn a drone into a search device it might do the job.

The H1R is awesome, I had this for my PC building and the light is perfect for it. I like it very much. I tried using Nitecore HC60, the low is way too low and the next level is way too high. The color for Olight H1R is much better for PC building as compared to HC60

Not forgetting, the band for H1R without the center band is much more convenient as the H1R is super light weight. HC60 color is more warm as compared to H1R, so for me, when I building a PC, H1R is perfect. It's all comes down to what you use for.

Not sure I'd like that. I have the Petzl Tikka because the price was great and I only need the basic headlamp. The batteries last forever too. This Olight seems like a little too much as in cords, seperate button, seperate battery. Now that little Olight H1R is awesome.

Yes, I agree about the HS2, too much cords + connectors and battery pack. I wasn't in need of one, but somebody was selling it on one of the flashlight forum for only $35, perfect condition, close to new and complete with case, USB cable, etc. I could't let it pass at that price and I'm sure I can find a use for it😊

I'm guessing Olight discontinued this model. Haven't seen it on their website or anywhere else for that matter.

@@livingsurvival I'm still debating on whether or not to get the H1R or H2R. There's an upside for each one. I likem both.

For being an established reviewer you really give a lot of misinformation. The h1r only goes on turbo (600 lumens) for 3 minutes. The high mode 180 lumens for an hour and 20 minutes compared to the hs2 that will actually hold 400 lumens for 2 hours plus...point is you get much more light for a much longer time out of the HSR

Yep you do but once that battery bank is done, you are done. With the H1R you can bring spare batteries. Plus the HS2 only goes down to 50 lumens which is way too bright for any camp night tasks. But, like you said lots of misinformation. Troll.
