I just got one for $28cad along with another 4 olight flashlights. Their sale was amazing. came in a bundlke with the arkfeld uv, baton 3 pro max, and i3t. 40% off, free shipping, no taxes, extra $10 coupon and they threw in a ilr2 pro. All for $180cad insane deal. I just bought a decent beginner lighter collection in one go.

Great video! Thanks for the overview. But it runs at 2.4 volts not 3.7. It's a customized 14500. It is a huge capacity and impressive run time. I have the black and OD green on the way

I think it's a pretty good upgrade for this series by Olight.

Overall it is an upgrade. I wish they would make a neutral white high cri tint and they would release the info on the led they use. Also would have liked to see a 3.7v battery instead of another proprietary 2.4v battery. good news is that it does come with a rechargeable battery. They could of redesigned the tail switch to allow for tail standing. I am happy to have the copper version though.

Another good, no BS review. Debating between these two. Seems those who would never incurr the expense of buying another rechargeable, proprietary AA would be better off with the i5T since the specs are essentially the same.

You forgot to mention WHY it is a proprietary battery...it's only 2.4 volts. 3.7v might have got this light close to the 500 lumens of the old M1T. Olight would have had a home run if they had put in a new LED? and shipped it with a 3.7v 14500. Instead, it's just a double up the middle.

I got one in the mail today. I didn't order it, but use to buy a whole lot from them. Not much of a fan of having to take the battery out to charge. I have several of the T's. Probably will gift it.

Did you notice the battery being greasy when you opened the light? Wasn’t sure if my battery leaked or if it’s the thread grease. But the battery had a film of it

Compact lights. I was considering maybe an i3R....assumed it's lumen ratigs were 15/180. WRONG. :) Found out a few minutes ago they are 5/180 for the i3T. 5 lumens I find is fairly useless as a LOW mode lumens power. You want at least 15 lumens...or even 10 (my dog's LED light puck on his leash).....Guess I'll be getting a i5R when on sale....possibly the i5T? Do want the i5T Plus---15 and 550 lumens on 2 AA's...not bad...oddly the i5% Plus is a lot cheaper than the i3T Plus on Amazon....by about $30.00....would have thought it would be the other way around...

Sticking a cable into a battery is asinine to me. I have a pile of Eneloop rechargeables ready to go and can do 4 at a time. Just swap one out every couple months.
