I’d also recommend taking off the mounting piece and adding some blue LocTite to the screws.

I ordered the Olight Odin Mini bundle this past Black Friday and Olight threw in another keychain flashlight all for $95.10 shipped. So far I’m satisfied with it. The only thing that I would have liked is for Olight to make the option between the pic rail mount or the MLOK mount available at the time of purchase. I just ordered the full size Odin bundle along with an extra pic rail mount a few hours ago during their Christmas sale. If it’s anything like the mini I will definitely be satisfied. On another note I would have loved to have an American made SureFire but unfortunately I’m on a poor man’s budget.

Surefire has bunch of their stuff made in China as well. It’s either fully made there, or the manufacturer sends over their parts that are put together in the states. The way I found out is I was shopping around for a manufacturer overseas, and was looking through one of their existing catalogs - they had a bunch of pictures with Surefire printed on some components, like the PCB’s, and on the inside of some end caps. When I asked about purchasing those products, and they heard I was planning on selling in the US market, they said they aren’t able to sell me those particular products due to exclusivity agreements with another “client”. I wonder who that client was…😏

Ever figure out how to get the low power mode to work with the pressure switch? It's pretty simple.

Would you use either of these as a helmet-mounted light (ARC rail mounted for example)? Or are they too big for that?

I have a concern with these Custom (proprietary?) Olight batteries? Will they run and function properly/charge with normal 18650/21700 Button Top Cells?
@echoesofmalachor3700

No. And the 18500 battery in the mini is not sold separately. Want a spare battery? Buy another light. Also China

They offer a replacement battery for the mini. I just looked, you had me a bit freaked out thinking I'd have no option for a backup battery.

You can use a regular 18500 for the mini,you will just need to charge on a separate charger and will not charge in the light

Proprietary, non interchangeable batteries. Made in China. Want to save a $150-200 and not buy a surefire scout? Gx2 pro. Odin Works light mount(mlok) and a Surefire xm07 pressure switch.

There is a momentary on function with the pressure switch. If you just hold it down then let go the light will go off. If you just click it, then you get the steady on function - click again to turn it off.
