I'd say that's the first time a performer brought his Bible and read it at the Opry.

You nailed it with your song that spoke to so many working class people. I watched Willie Nelson struggle for years before getting recognized. At 81 years old I have seen and heard so many of our great singer songwriters of country music. Hope your career iscas successful. Never forgetvyour roots!

People are so desperate to find someone truthful to believe in, some people see that and use it to enrich themselves, so far this man is trying to keep the users at bay and stay true to us all. I pray he can withstand the temptation and keep to the strait and narrow to give us hope. 🙏🏼

Every so often this country is graced with a talent that requires nothing yet delivers on everything. A musician whose words transcends the music itself, The vocals and pickin are just the bonus. No matter where I go I will remember the first time I heard this song and was immediately moved to instant emotion.

SO don't deny them that, and they need more of it. The people need hope they need somebody to hear them even if it's through you. God watch over you, brother, Many blessings to you. And his angels protect you and keep you strong and away from the devils drink and drugs. May he shine his light upon you. May his words flow through you with the fountain of life, And through you bring strength and shine upon THE WORLD FOR THE GLORYOF GOD . Amen, all glory be to God ALMIGHTY 🙏

It makes my heart smile knowing there are still some good old boys who just want to sing and play, and not do all the hub bub surrounding a music career. You give us hope ... we all need that right now. I love how you put into music what we all feel at one time or another. You are real. PLEASE stay real. And true to yourself. This is your journey brother... we are just enjoying the truth in your songs. Thank you for showing this old woman that there is still good out there. You do country music proud... !!!! Love hearing that cry in your voice and the sound of that dobro.. all ya need is a steel guitar and we are in business hahaha. Nah, keep it simple.. makes it easy and more enjoyable. But, as a dog lover.. I think you need to bring the puppers on stage with ya.. every where ya go. They are so sweet.

To be the best you can be, you have to be humbled first. When you respect the hard work you put into something, then you are humbled. I spent hours upon hours in the gym to lose 100 lbs, after my wife passed away. Respecting all the hard workouts humbled me. When you realize the drugs or the alcohol were the reason why you made those bad decisions, you have to be humbled to put that bottle away. I realized I’m not able to drink like a responsible drinker, it humbled me. July 4th will be 7 yrs without alcohol.

I'm not trying to be mean or nothing but I want to see you on the Opry stage more than Jelly Roll or Post Malone.. I'm just old school I guess.. I like their songs.. but, to me, they don't personify country music. George Jones did a song Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes.. I don't think Jelly Roll is gonna fill Johnny Cash's shoes. And when Post Malone gets on the Opry stage before so many other country artists can't. I don't like it.. I'm not saying I don't like Post Malone.. I do.. but it's not right that he got the red carpet out when so many others haven't. Don't hate me.. I like the music.. but to me.. not the country music I was raised with
