I saw her work in Playboy in the 80's, and I had both her trading cards and the Heavy Metal ones, whole sets, until just a few years ago. Her style -- her lines, designs, and colors, all just amazing.

Thanks for presenting this wonderful artist who went to SVA in the early ‘70’s. Heavy Metal was a terrific magazine which featured the work of many great artists and illustrators back then. 👏🏼

Great bio once again. Alberto Vargas has certainly influenced many fine artists. DeBerdardini has blurred the line of fine photography and air brushed work. Which is why I think the last piece of work in this video has a complete mess surrounding the female form. I could be wrong, but I think it might be so.

I'm glad you liked the video, and thank you very much for mentioning Alberto Vargas, I didn't know him and I've been watching some of his work and certainly that last illustration of the video contrasts with the rest of his work.

Great video and awesome art by Olivia, today I know a well artist, thanks art shutter! Pd: Glenn Orbik will be a great option to make a video like this, he was of the best modern pulp artist and his style and technique is so great.

I started reading Heavy Metal back in the late 70s because I loved comic books like XMen but there wasn't any others that really interested me as a girl. Heavy Metal had some really innovative art and fantastic storytelling and the issues I really liked were the ones that Olivia drew the covers for. I really didn't appreciate them until I got older and had a little more in the way of art experience. The detail she brings to her women is jaw dropping. That she is able to draw the delicacy of lace and make it look like it was just tatted is truly remarkable. Olivia and Patrick Nagel were 2 of my fave artists in the 80s up to now.

Sigo a esta maravillosa artista de hace mas de tres años y he de decir que su arte es mas que inspirador no desde una perspectiva del deseo si no desde el poder de la feminidad. Mis respetos a la maestra Olivia.

That was a great video. I was born in the 70s, and have seen and appreciated her work for years. I studied her work @ the High School of Art & Design in NYC as an illustrator before becoming an architect. Subbing now...CHEERS!

No doubt that is an interesting topic for a video, although there is a lot to cover, but certainly something can be done with that idea, thank you very much for the comment

В ее работах полностью искажено истинное предназначение женщины. То что она делала, начало разрушения природных ценностей. В текущем времени мы наблюдаем последствия таких деятелей. Люди будьте бдительны . Не ведитесь на такое искусство.
