My heart is heavy and broken with the loss of Olivia Newton-John, who passed away this last week. Our world lost one of the greatest human beings of our time. When I look back at the era in which she gave such love and devotion to us with her incredible, amazing, voice of an angel from heaven, I always regarded her as one of the best of the best. And now we face a world without her gentle soul to influence, inspire, and help us feel better about life. She will be so sorely missed. But, on the other hand, I’m also glad she no longer must struggle with her terrible battle with cancer and that she is finally at peace. But God Almighty… I will miss her so!! A legend. A true star. An angel from heaven. The best of the best! Thank you dear Olivia for all that you gave us for so many years. You will always be in my heart until my final breath. I’m hopelessly devoted to you! I love you…. I honestly… love you…

The woman with that amazing voice, that I loved almost my entire life. She was special the very first time I heard her voice, and she stayed that special until the day she passed, and will remain special to me, until my time comes.

Awe, I've had the biggest crush on Olivia Newton-John since the mid-70's when I heard her singing "I Honestly Love You" and "Have You Never Been Mellow" and when Grease came out and later Xanadu I listened to those soundtracks endlessly. She's such a beautiful, sweet, kind, soul with the voice of an angel. Very deserving of this award.

Olivia's Physical was the first cassette I ever had my folks buy for me. I was 9 years old. After that I collected all her albums. I loved Grease, and when I had friends over I MADE them help me act out the You're The One That I Want by nightlight with the shadows on the wall. Because of you I learned how to sing by singing all your songs out my bedroom window so I wouldn't wake my folks up. 🙂 Thank you for being such an amazing role model in my life. 💕

Olivia Newton John is and will always be the most amazing and best female singer/songwriter/artist this side of the black stump. I have absolutely adored her since I was knee high to a grasshopper. When I was younger I used to always want to hear that John Travolta and Olivia were in a relationship. (Which I think they were for a little while- I can't quite remember) I honestly hate that Olivia is fighting yet another battle but I also know that with all our love and support we give her, she will beat this yet again. She's a bloody beautiful strong woman and she deserves so much recognition of everything including everything else she's going through in her life and still going through, for example.... Patrick, Chloe.....etc etc. Olivia, you are such an inspiration to so very many of us and I wish you nothing but the best of Love, Luck, Health and Happiness in this world. You deserve nothing less. I love you. Never, never give up. xxxx

ONJ may have been the most beautiful woman in the planet making music in the 70s and 80s. She was absolutely beautiful while she had her long hair, especially in the Xanadu song video. I love that she collaborated with ELO on Xanadu. ELO and "The Band" are probably the most underrated groups of the 60s, 70s, and early 80s.

Olivia's song I Honestly Love You, a favorite song of hers and JT's, means a lot to them because of their secret love. They loved each other but can't get married. Aside from the timing wasn't always right (it's in her book), they have different religious beliefs. So they just decided to end up as best friends, supportive in good and bad times, and marry people who remind them of each other. Good thing they were able to confirm their true love during that time when they did the Grease event in Florida. In an interview later on instead of saying no they did not date (what they used to do when being asked), JT just said the matter is too private and Olivia just laughed. I feel sad for JT now...

The one thing about `Sandy` (Sandra Shevey) and this is true even today (I am age 76) is that `she` will always, always come out with something unexpected. The reply `Sandy, I am shocked. Shocked` has been said Sandra Shevey hundreds of times..and it still is said to her. Comment doesn`t surprise anyone as much as Sandra herself because she always expects that others see the complexity. Funny, funny life! She laughs (perhaps only to herself) every time someone says it, and they still say it out loud. It is a thing!

Me thinks you sound a little JEALOUS of Australians. Liv has never denied she was born in England, but her schooling years were in Australia and she started her career in Australia, as Kylie after her. I doubt Liv would sing songs like "It's Always Australia for me" and "I still call Australia home" if she didn't have an affinity with the place. Besides, she didn't head to England when she was recovering from breast cancer, did she. She headed straight to Australia, and has come back numerous times. As for Kylie "making it" in England, she "made it" BEFORE heading to the UK. She was mobbed when she arrived there - remember??
