I'm the biggest Olivier Giroud fan. I'm also an Arsenal fan. I was sad, when Wenger sold him to Chelsea and replaced him with Lacazette and Aubameyang. He is still producing at 37. That's amzing. i hope he plays until age 40. Like my other idol .. Roger Milla.

It's not by chance if Giroud is still competing at very high levels at nearly 36 years. He's got a great work ethic, he's fit and he has learnt to make evolve his style. He's less mobile, but he's moving with much more intelligence. His goal vs england during the world cup was the perfect example.

Class... love me some Olivier Giroud. He has the humility and professionalism to play whatever role is asked of him while maintaining that elite-level of competitive drive and hunger to win. Those traits help make him an excellent mentor for young players and I have no doubt that any club that has counted him among their ranks would agree. last year apart from the death group Milan were expelled by referees twice: against Atletico and against Porto. Mental decisions (1 imaginary penalty to Atletico in the additional times, and 1 goal to Porto with blatant faul at its source). Thanx for remembering how corrupt this competition is! He had great hold up play and passing to his teammates,great jump but his speed was just ok and his finishing was just good,he would score from the box most of the time but would also miss sitters,outside of box he scored 2 or 3 goals but it was Wenger's fault because we played with bad crossers of the ball.

It was weird, arsenal had this huge presence and good header in the box, we would have walcott doing only ground crosses and cutbacks... It worked, but they should have mixed it up with more proper crosses to giroud.. Most pf the time he was like the decoy, that the opposition had to guard while the others were free for the ground passes... Criminal that he did not have that many headed goals for arsenal...

Giroud was at the center of some of Arsenal’s best team goals in the Wenger era because of his link up play and delicate touch for a big man. He also scored some bangers including that scorpion kick in off the bar which again was great team build up before. I think the fans of today would appreciate him more as the toxic atmosphere at Arsenal has gone now. Respect to Giroud. As an Arsenal fan I appreciate him and his footballing résumé is up there with the best. Bravo Olivier.
