Some corrections: 0:01 Olympic's wheelhouse should have seven windows, not five. 0:11 and 0:16 The brass windows were painted a reddish/orange color known as dark mast. 1:01 The divider separating the promenade in the near distance should be a set of bostwick/collapsible gates, not a railing. 1:06 Parisien Cafe is missing the fake vines within the trellis. 1:47 Those wooden/glazed doors are open the wrong way, they opened into the reception room, not the entrance. The sideboard against the far wall is also too small.

@TechnologicallyTechnical
Жыл бұрын
+Pels Yes! That would've been the cloak room, basically a room full of coat hooks for passengers to hang up coats & hats during meals. I don't really know why passengers would opt to do that, but having a cloak room near the dining saloon was common practice aboard ships at the time. Very few people used it on Olympic though, and so it was removed both on her and on Titanic (with staterooms taking its place).

@TechnologicallyTechnical

+AndyHappyGuy The bridge equipment/funnel assets/wrought-iron grille designs are custom made meshes. Aside from photographs, there's also various deck plans of Olympic/Titanic/Britannic, as well as written documentation of those ships that help provide insight into what the various, unphotographed areas looked like.
