I worked as a Park Ranger managing the Quinalt Ranger station back in 98' and my uncle and his family have lived in Port Townsend for a long time so this video brings back many good memories of all my old stomping grounds so thanks for such a nice well done video.

I love the Olympic Peninsula. Haven't been out there in years. I live in Seattle and don't drive.😭 We went to Crescent lake and the merrymere falls with my 5th grade for a week long camp. Its so beautiful!!! I went to Hurricane Ridge with my high school, so pretty!

Forget the Elwha River Valley visit. The roadway has been washed out a couple of times since the dam removal and NPS is now looking at relocating it.

Very well done, Perhaps you would consider doing the same for the south and east sides of the park. All have great things to offer. Viewers should be aware though that one can no longer access the Whiskey Bend TH or the upper Elwha dam now removed because the road washed out. There is still a trail that detours around this washout making it possible to view the upper Elwha dam removed. The trail now starts at Madison Falls trailhead.

None of those reason is why I am not going. I am not going because as a single RVer my hiking buddy, my dog is NOT allowed in this National Park like most National Parks It stinks as we are avid hiker. We have hiked some epic hikes in the Olympic National Forest where you CAN take your best hiking buddy ever

Its because of bigfoot/sasquatch. Thats why you will see the no dogs signs on some trails, but not every trail.

John 3:16-2116 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

You just can't romanticize Port Angeles. It is impoverished and drug infested. It could be great, but the number one economy is the justice system. Sadly, all of that detracts from the beautiful treasures of the Olympic National Park. It's unfortunate that locals can't AFFORD to explore the natural resources of the land they live in. Sorry for the soapbox. The video is beautiful and informative, You did a great job.

That is truly to bad to hear. I lived in Kalaloch for many years and always loved my time there. I have been wanting to return to either P.A. or P.T. but hearing from all around that the peninsula still is just not a good place to be
