@@terryfenner8142 I think Omega are heavily trying to increase their perception of luxury. Their price is an easy way of doing that. A cheaper quartz watch might be seen as "cheapening" the brand. This is one of the reasons I love Grand Seiko, they have the confidence to do it. But then again, they have their in-house 9F movement, whereas Omega used an ETA quartz movement, which isn't strictly in-house. I too would love to see them bring it back. Breitling has some awesome quartz watches.

I’ve had the 38mm Aqua Terra cal 8800 for about a year, and I actually love the quick date function over the quick hour (the only functional difference between the 38mm and 41mm versions). It is more practical if you don’t wear your watch for a couple days and need to more quickly set the date. Otherwise fully agree, it’s a great watch you never grow out of, and the design/movement is brilliant. Cheers Adrian! Thanks for showing this stunner

Hi Adrian. I have the 41m 2021 Aqua Terra with white dial, on the grey rubber deployment clasp with orange stitching to match the accents on the dial..... Bought end of Nov 2021... It's a great watch. Prefer it personally to the new small seconds. But real point is: Super classy. Brilliant build. Dress up or down. Your choice. Most of all. 8900 movement is awesome! I set this watch on 2/12/21. It's now 43 days later and it's running +2... NOT a day, but in 43 days!!!! That's GS spring drive in a coaxial mechanical .... Just amazing... Cheers.

The Aqua Terra all day long for me. My father just picked up the blue 38mm (no small seconds), and it's brilliant. He has a slightly bigger wrist than my 7-1/4" wrist, but felt the 41 was a bit too sporty sized, and preferred the dressier size of the 38mm. I can't argue with that at all. I had the AT on my lister for consideration for a big purchase this year, but now it's off the table as that will one day (hopefully many, many years from now) be coming to me. I'll get something else, of which there is no shortage of great watches to choose. I'm not overly into the small seconds version of this watch, but it's a cool addition. My only complaints would be I'd prefer a fully brushed bracelet, and secondly an adjustable clasp. That's it. Oh, and I am one of those people sad the 39mm Explorer was discontinued. I tried a pre-owned one on recently, and it was brilliantly sized. So comfortable on wrist. I just don't think it's worth the prices they're going for now.

My big gripe with the AT is the bracelet not having any sort of micro adjust. Vacheron has the little 2mm adjust on each side of the butterfly on the overseas, I realize it is a much more expensive watch but omega should be flexing that swatch group money.

Love it, but disagree on your bracelet preference, the polished is class. Great vid.

A very nice watch. Love Omega. Got one with 2500, quite nice and doesn't haveanti reflective coating on top of the glass thus doesn't scratch. Brushed bracelet and thin.

Brilliant watch. Couldn’t choose either to be honest, have a PO and a Seamaster Diver 300m. Almost bought an AT a year ago. Hope to add one in the near future. But not sure about the small seconds. Brilliant room and lighting by the way. Very professional setup (obviously 😊).

Those brief seconds where you held up the smp300 instantly made me realize I like that one more

Quartz Grand Seiko or Quartz Omega? 🤔

Got my Dad an early Aqua Terra quartz for Xmas, paid just £1300 for it, a bargain imho & he loves it. These small seconds are gorgeous - would prefer it without a date, but I could live with it in this case. Suspect I'll have one in the future... Spectacular watch, great review. Cheers 👍🏻👍🏻

£1300! That’s an amazing price. And a killer watch. 👍🏻

I went to a boutique to buy a Planet Ocean, and walked out with the Silver and blue Aqua Terra. If there had been a small seconds version there, I would have bought that. But in no way am I unhappy with what I have. Worth every penny.

I just watched a SKX Pepsi bezel bleaching video you did in 2018. Great video then but your production and content has come on incredibly since 2018. Inspiring stuff.
