I remember hearing this song in Chicago in the late 70s and realized there is rock after disco. Thank God.

This is an edited version. Left out the whole second verse. Missing out by not getting the whole context of the whole song. It was perfectly crafted the first time around. An edit is an insult. Anyway you seem to absorb the essence well and thank you for your reaction video. Keep them coming please. The rest of this album is also a masterpiece.

I saw them in Junior High in 1978 and they sounded fantastic live. All the harmonies, the wall of sound everything. And it was a small indoor arena. Or really a medium-sized indoor arena I guess. And the ticket price was $7.50 including all the extra fees and taxes. We did wait in line for 4 hours though.

"More Than A Feeling" is one of the greatest songs of all time, and this album is one of the greatest. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and it's nice to see the touring band, who is playing what, whose singing. However, this video has a verse missing; and with the studio audio that was produced by Tom on all instruments except drums and Brad singing all the vocals (including all backing vocals) it is somewhat misleading. I also think your reaction should include some comments on your experience from the music, and a look at the lyrics and what they mean to you.

The tall guy playing guitar is Tom Scholz. He recorded this and all but one song on the first album in his basement studio. Every song from this album got heavy radio play. You can't go wrong with Boston.

Yes sad they left a whole verse out. I was 16 when it came out. Anybody who knew guitar wanted to rock to this song. Still do to this day.

Hi, my dear... grreat reaction to a great song from a great (but in my opinion, underestimated) band ! More than a feeling is probably their best known song. Another beautiful rock ballad from them is "Amanda", also worth reacting to. Haven't heard this song for so many years. You brought back some childhood memories again, my dear. So here's to your next one... I hope you'll come back to one of my suggestions soon... and I am patiently waiting for your reaction to Ren x Chinchilla Chalk Outlines (live).. Hugs and kisses from your dear friend Gerry PS : You look so gorgeous in this video with your natural hair and that dark red puilover (or is it a blouse ?)

Thanks so much for this excellent reaction Cynthia. This particular song is perhaps one of the most played rock songs of all time. It was absolutely huge when it was released and still is today, it's iconic. From the incredible vocals, the searing guitar and the marvelous melody, this song has it all. Boston wasn't technically a one-hit wonder but they never had another song that even approached the popularity of More Than A Feeling. Having said that, most any band would consider themselves very successful if they had even one hit as huge as this. Cheers from Ontario, Canada!

I'm sorry dear I'm going to have to stop you in the middle of this. Well, not you. But I can't go on watching this because the song was cut off in the middle. This is some stupid radio edit or something that cuts most of the music out. Please find the album version than this and do the video over again. You have not experienced this song correctly. Hugs. 😊
