They were quite popular here in Guernsey. The peewee was very distinctive.

Sweet Jesus. It looks like the chassis has been setting at the bottom of the ocean for a few decades. I have seen rusty chassis before but that's horrible. I don't miss the days of working on basket cases like this. I would rather work on a half dozen lightning damaged repeaters or radios instead of that poor basket case. It's just a shame someone paid to have all that work done to a radio in such bad condition.

Howdy Mike, I have seen some basket case radios in my time but this one takes the cake. I have requested to return it for refund on behalf of my client so let's see how that plays out. It was one of those radios that the more you looked, the more you unfortunately found😂😂😂😂 hope your keeping well brother cheers Brenton vk3cm Tangambalanga North East Victoria Australia

Full of corrosion more than likely out of a boat we used them boat to shore in the 80,s as they were cheap as chips when they stopped working a nice one was put in its place. Now days we use mobile phones out fishing .that radio is toast.

I am partial to a nice Hygain V, definitely worth saving but if you’re charging by the hour i guess it isn’t worth it.

Hard to understand why someone would invest so much time modding this radio considering it's poor cosmedic condition..😧..Regards from the Uk..

Wow what a hack job , only thing I'd use it for is possibly parts and even that is questionable, why fools modify such nice radios is beyond me.
