Hi Aron. Saw you at the RV Kidz TV livestream tonight. Glad to be back to check out your channel and become your friend. This is ingenious. Rocky mentioned on the live that your hacks were great but this is fantastic. We've not see the wire twister before. What a cool gadget. That thing's not going anywhere. Thanks for sharing. We are new friends and glad to be with you!

Hi Aron! Good idea; good job. But what caught my eye was that wire spinner. I don't need a wire spinner; in fact, I don't think I've ever seen one before your video. But now I want one. I might be a tool-aholic. Safe travels!

@@3tailsRV Most of my family worked for Grumman Aerospace and Northrup after military service. I'm sure when they were on the floor they used this all the time. My brother and father used to show me specialty tools - very cool. I just don't remember this one. I haven't looked for the spinner yet. Have to wait til after property taxes to see if I can spare a few bucks.

Thanks for the tip. Great plan. I opted to use my drill and clamped the 3 drill teeth down on the 2 wires instead of pliers. Set drill to slowest option and gently press the trigger....done! Was able to just barely loosen the drill after spinning, move to the next wires, then insert the next wires without spinning the teeth open all the way. The screens are completely immobile now !!

There is a different shape screen available for your furnace outlet. It fits behind the grill and still has a protruding “bubble”. No need for safety wire with the correct screen.

For that furnace you want a Valterra A10-1302VP Bug Screen. It fits INSIDE the grill and has a bulge in it at the exhaust. Needs nothing to hold it in place, just remove the outer panel, place the screen in place and reinstall the panel. If you like you can wire the screen in the corners. Use .020" stainless aircraft safety wire. For the water heater I bought, from Amazon, a small piece of #8 mesh (8 openings per inch) stainless woven wire (used by beekeepers but the same stuff those RV screens are made from) I cut it, fitted it behind the water heater grill and wired it to it.

Are you worried about this voiding the warranty on the appliances in the RV? Also our RV has a full residential fridge and is operated only by battery. I don't have the usual intake or exhaust for the refrigerator. In fact I don't even have an access door to pop off to insert screens. I only have manual louvers that I open or close and snap shut. Any recommendation on how to keep bugs out of that? I don't believe the screens will fit
