WHAT A COINCIDENCE! I just had my shop foamed today and imagine that, this video pops up right after the guys leave. If you think your not being listened to by your phone think again!

Yep. A few years back, my husband watched a documentary about prohibition, bootleggers and moonshine. My phone happened to be on the speaker near the TV, for weeks after that I received all kinds of advertisements, recommendations, etc all related to moonshine, how to design a still, famous bootleggers etc.

Big big difference in the feeling of having a shop at a place of renting vs having a shop that' we own- I've had all and had big shops that look nice and fancy and have had shops made from raggedy wood and scrap and tbh the place that we own that's ours has a way better feel than one we rent. Some of the best work that I've created came from a barn with tarps on the walls and gravel floor.

I've never owned a house and probably won't, can't do much with 28k a year but I inherited land so a shop is going up for sure, Richard ain't kidding about a shop making money. I rent because it's what I can afford and it's way cheaper than owning lol, rent the landlord pays for broken things as a owner that crap hurts the already bleeding pockets I mean seriously who has 10 grand they can just toss at a new HVAC system or even 8 grand for a new shingle roof lmao I don't even have a hundred bucks to my name..

Very nice looking shop. Be neat to see it painted and finished. With a fancy new shop, you'll have to make sure you keep it clean! Ha ha. I'm curious about one thing. Usually when I see spray foam, its normally big and puffy. Why didn't you use that type of product? Again, just curious. Thanks for showing it.😊😊

It looks rather thin.. I've seen it blow in 12" thick in attics.. They filled the rafters and the joists that thick... It was like walking into different world. lol
@SomeoneStoleMyHandle

If it's closed cell foam, like it appears to be, it's plenty deep at 3-4" for a shop. It's vapor proof at that thickness and as real world efficient as R-26 to R-30 batt insulation. Attics only get blown in that thick to meet residential code; which is written for the lowest common denominator, cheap contractors poorly installing cheap batt insulation. Only "downside" of spray foam is that you have to be honest and properly manage your IAQ or you're gonna have a bad time.

Nice y'all must've moved or something haven't seen a video in a minute lol, ive honestly never considered a house mainly for two reasons renting is cheaper than owning and if something breaks it's on the landlord to fix lol, but a shop is really nice to have and im building one on my property. Definitely can always make money out of a shop for sure, looks good that spray foam should keep it decent in there.

For those of you who are confused, this is what I figure has taken place. All these videos coming out here in the last few days are actually a year old. They can be found on Richard's other channel. Trent had control of this channel(otherwise, why did Richard start a new one?) and deleted all comments from any previous videos and turned comments "off". One of two things has possibly happened. A) They have kissed and made up, or B) There has been a ruling by either the courts or KZitem giving Richard the ability to start posting videos again on this channel.

@@gillboardman8998 There is a very good reason this channel is active again. As I stated before, he has somehow regained access to this channel. The other channel wasn't doing so good as he has less than 25 thousand subs after a year or more. Early on, they had tried posting links to their new channel but Trent kept deleting them and eventually edited all the videos to show "Comments turned off". This channel with it's larger sub base is more profitable for Richard. Unfortunately, it will be the same old. 4L60E and 68RE teardowns. Occasional 6l80 thrown in for interest. He will still refuse to show any rebuilds. Out of all the years and videos he has posted, there is only ONE rebuild to his credit - a TH350. All of the white collar wannabes will still marvel at his "skills" and keep this channel going somewhat. I for one have moved on to the plethora of other channels here that not only show complete rebuilds, but also a varying range of makes and models. I only clicked on this video because it came to my notifications box.

Paint it with a commercial grade sprayer. You can rent one. Don’t buy one, rent it or borrow one from a friend. Remember👉🏽commercial grade. Put a 5ft. extension or wand on the gun. You’ll cover more area, and it keeps your face(nostrils) further away from the surface being sprayed. If you’re gonna try and brush and roll all of that, you’re gonna die. Take it from a pro, spray it. You oughta use some exterior oil base. Yes, exterior oil base. It’ll last. You ain’t in California, so you can probably still find oil base paint. I could still find it in California too, I’d have to go like 60 miles from the Bay Area to get it😉. I used to go out of my way for my good customers, friends and family. Oil base will cost a little more, but it’s worth it. It wipes 🧻 🧼 🧽 clean
