Update: 2 years ago i had a stroke after my 18th birthday, and exactly a year after had another one, and sat in the hospital beds, this was one of my calming songs, i don’t even relate this song to nostalgia or anything anymore. Just pure peace, it calms me down and brings me back down to earth from the nightmare that is my life lmao.

Thank you for this, Ollie. I used to watch your Vines many moons ago with the first woman I learned to love. We would stay up late into the night absorbing your beautiful sounds and your bitter humor; we would sing along with you while we traveled around our little town. Those were the best 3 years of my life and now she's gone, I'm embittered and melancholic and alcoholic and your music sparks the deepest sense of nostalgia in me. Thank you, Ollie. Never let your beautiful spark die out.

Ever since i stumbled upon this master piece in December of 2015 it has remained my favorite song. The lyrics connect to me over a past lover in way i can not articulate. Also during the time of discovering this profound song i went on a family vacation after new years in 2016 traveling New Zealand for my sisters wedding. The majestic and vast country side with the most beautiful views of forests and mountains. Takes me back. Time.
