That's AR, not VR, but still very high-end hardware and its the same basic concept. First it is not possible as there is yet another joint in arm for crouching. Then did you see you are running in air!! his foot is not touching ground. It will not be fun running in air. Omni One comes with a bundled headset, with software and games tailor made for our hardware, which results in a much better user experience. Aside from this, without having tried the competitor's product, I can mostly only speculate based on what I've seen; but Omni One appears to have greater freedom of movement; there is also less obstruction behind you; the competitor's support system may block certain larger peripherals, for instance.

As much as I want this to succeed I am worried about how loud the operation of it is. The running in spot on a movable platform definitely won't be quiet, you can see how it bend and wobbles under foot.. That arm wont be quiet either. This would make its use in a apartment difficult unless you hate your neighbors.

They also don't seem to show how you would set up a PC headset cable without it getting tangled in the machine and ripping out your HDMI port.

Thank you for watching the video! The sound of playing on Omni One is comparable to using a home treadmill.

@@XecularOfficial The Omni One comes with a cable-free VR headset with an integrated store and games library. However, if you do want to use a PC-based headset, we offer a "VR Boom" for cable management that will allow for rotation and keeping cables above the players head and out of the way.

It looks amazing keeping fit whilst gaming 🙂. Just wondering could the bowl be a bit bigger so that the strides when walking/running can be longer and more natural then it would be perfect. I love that it can fit in a bedroom

The final production base will be bigger than the one we used in our promotional video.

Only question is can it support quick turn movements? Like almost snappy movements as a mouse would. Otherwise the build is amazing! Been following the progress for years

Movement speeds are more natural, in contrast to ADAD and fast mouse turns.
