the good ending title screen is basically mari playing the piano with a smile on her face, saying “You know... Waltzes were always my favorite. That's why I chose this song for our last recital. But you always hated it, didn't you? How I'd lock myself away on the piano... All that practicing... Playing the same song over and over. When you first picked up your new violin, you were so eager to play with me. But keeping up with something isn't so easy. Maybe I pushed you too hard. I'm sorry... I just wanted it to be perfect. We never did get to play at that last recital. Did you want to play it with me now?” also you can see the light in sunny’s eyes again.. it’s nice

They often say that eyes are our windows into the soul. The thing in the castle mentioned Omori’s soul was split. And how after fighting Basil he pokes an eye out from Sunny unintentionally. One of them had to perish that day, and fortunately. It was Omori.

the first thing sunny does after the end of 4 years of self loathing, guilt and depression is finally let himself grieve and cry i also love how this version of the theme no longer has that off putting recorded filter, and no stillness either. the birds in the background give off a sense of spring having come. It also has more complex playing on the left hand, showing Sunny has finally remembered Mari and his past properly. And the section at 0:28 is different, it resolves with descending notes instead of leaving off on an uncertain portion.

To compare with the Title (OST 001 whitespace title), this one feels much cleaner. The wind gently passes throught your hair, the birds happily sing their song, and you, sit on the grass, and look back to your past. All the hell you've passed, all the torture and torment, is all gone. The road was rough, but you're now standing on the other side. You forgave yourself, it hurts, but the memory will always be there, is part of you now, you have to move on for them, for him, for _her._ The piano notes gently embrace you, as you close your eyes, and let it all go. Is a clean slate for you, Sunny. The hell is over, and a new road lies ahead.

When you get to the good ending, that little strange.. buzzing uncomfortable like sound turns into the birds singing and the wind blowing. This song captures the relief I've been feeling the past few days, knowing that I have sunny (haha) days ahead after such a long storm. I came ridiculously close to ending my life this year, but my loving family and amazing therapist saved me. I just recently found out that I have severe obsessive-compulsive disorder which went totally untreated my entire life. Ever since then it genuinely feels like I've woken up from a 22 year long nightmare realizing that my extreme constant feelings of inferiority, embarrassment, shame and guilt were actually the result of a disease rather than it being the truth. I'm so excited to start proper treatment now to recover and finally gain control of my life :) The worst part of OCD that most people don't know about is the persistent intrusive thoughts that relentlessly attack whatever you hold the most dear, and it does whatever it takes to make you think you're a horrible person who should feel unnecessarily guilty. I've made my fair share of mistakes in the past but I've apologized, learned from them, and I've finally been able to forgive myself and move on. It feels so surreal.

I was on this menu for hours after I got the true good ending knowing that Basil, Kel, Hero, Aubrey and Sunny himself will be able to move on couldn't stop me from crying. This game is a one of a kind a work of art I would put around the same quality as a Studio Ghibli film. This game motivated me to keep going no matter what pain I or others inflict on me now, past or future.

Makes sense why the title theme sounded so ominous before, it wasn't complete
