I'm from Liverpool, I had two aunties living on The Wirral, one in Birkenhead and the other in Wallasey. In 1974 I was 9 (pre Merseyside Passenger Transport Executive M.P.T.E.) so I remember those Birkenhead Transport Blue buses and ... the cream colored buses at Seacombe under Wallasey Transport!.

I used to catch the 64 from the top of Kings Lane to school and back in the early 70’s and one of these would take me, trick was to hold on to your 2p fare and hop off before the conductor gripped you. Happy memories.

This could have been the 71A that used to run from Woodside to Heswall. How nice it would be to see a shot of a few of these plus a Crosville LoDecker parked up near Woodside despite the change to the roads it would be wonderful to hear the sound and see maybe them all lined up next to the wall of Woodside station. The C1 for Chester !

I used to get the C1 & 2 from Woodside (after getting off the Ferry) on my way to a girlfriend in Port Sunlight, we would use it to get to Chester.
