Fished the Tweed at Coldstream after 4 days solid rain. Not a nibble all day, but we knew that would be the case. Mind you, a bad day on the river is still better than a good day in the office!

No. Thank you Charlie. These vids are very helpful for this person in a rut. Entertaining, humourous, thought provoking sensitive thoughts. Education and titillation (contraversy). Thank you for sharing your troubles, it is valuable to know other people(especially esteemed utubers) have big problems too. You just said to me"what are you doing kid? ". Needed it. Thanks again. Cheers

What a great video! Thanks! BTW, not all of us 'watched' The Lord of the Flies on video; when I was at school, we had to read the book, as there was no video, only broadcast TV. Fortunately this developed my love of reading. Rather glad that the Scots defeated the English back then, as my joint Scottish and English heritage means I can appreciate BOTH cultures, rather than just a homogenous one. Also very impressed to see a beautiful sunny day in Scotland - not what many would tell us. BTW, if 20c is still "hot", then I want to move to Scotland ASAP, as here in southern Australia (Canberra ACT) then 20c is considered a COOL day! I really HATE hot weather and your environment sounds so much better to me!

Over time I developed phobia all down to dirty heads on VHS player etc. I would literally have panic attack if tape scrambled. To this day I still get bumps if hear VHS.

I often throw hemp seeds into gardens and flower beds like that, but I rarely saw one growing. I guess I bet on the wrong plant, I should have switched to tomato. Have we already tried smoking dried tomato plants? :)
@bigbasil1908
2 жыл бұрын
Don't smoke tomato plants lol. They have solanine in them which is a poison. 'Hemp' seeds need a certain amount of warmth and moisture to germinate. Maybe gardeners spotted the sprouted plants and got rid of them. Rabbits, and deer love eating 'hemp' plants. Foxes will have a nibble, and most likely rats and mice will gladly eat a young 'hemp' plant.

I think I know more than anyone else I meet ....... unless I get evidence to the contrary. I think My opinions are correct ..... unless I get evidence I am wrong. Then I re-evaluate! It is the second part, the re-evaluation that many miss. It comes, I believe from having to confront yourself with the fact You are Wrong eather in your opinion or your knowledge! A humbling experience many do not want to have! You, Charlie are an adult. You know when you are wrong! ..... usually ;o) A bit of Shakespeare comes to mind ..... "To thyne own self, be true"!
