Great looking army and nice video. I particularly like the realistic metallic finish on the armoured vehicles.

⭐️ Very nice collection and great to see it’s an ongoing project, the weathering on helmets and gun shields in particular is really good⭐️👍

Yeah this is probably going to be my next group/unit to do after my mid to late war German Grenadiers (regulars) 3 10 man squads with a veteran SD. KFZ. 234/2 Puma and either SD KFZ 251/9 Stummel or Brummbar depending on the mood I'm in (1250 points). Still waiting for the Brummbar to show with all the Covid shut down that has happen and so waiting for when it became available again. With a medium mortar team and Panzerschreck team to round it out. People ask me why I would have a Panzershreck since I also have Panzerfaust. It's simple I like that you got double the range with the Shreck 24" over just the 12" for the shorter range faust. For my Soviets I would take a straight SMG squad and 2 mixed rifles and LMG squads(regular), then a KV-8 flamethrower tank with a BA-6/10 armored car with a MMG Maxim crew and a heavy mortar team and maybe a sniper team. The one thing that Warlord should look into as I would buy. Would be Leningrad milita unit armed with M1895 Winchesters as the Soviets had about 2 to 4,000 on hand during the siege, as these was meant for the Republican Spain forces but was never delivered due to the Soviets leaving in late 1938 in disgust and washing their hands as most fighting on the Republican side was fighting amongst themselves instead of the Nationalist. The other thing the Soviets had was the AVT-40, most people know the SVT-38/40 rifles but the AVT was a different animal that was brought out in early winter 42/43 as a stop gap measure as the Soviets didn't have enough MG's to equip their forces properly. The AVT was brought out to fill the gap until the new SG-43 MMG came on line in sufficient numbers. It was select fire as the safety was the select switch the right side was full and the left was semi. But with a 10 round mag it only could fire for almost a second before being empty. You also could not go full auto unless the unit commander gave you the order to do so, otherwise it was a court martial offense and you stood a pretty good chance at being sent to a penal battalion as punishment! It would be pretty interesting if these was brought out on a game think of the old 1st edition rules of the STG-44.

the russains need a 2nd ed army book. they got a lot of stuff, and rules that could benifit from a 2.0 clarification. along with faqs. the british would be 2nd to this as they have gained alot of units and updates through campaign books and FaQs.

Great figures and time well spent! Maybe you have them but if not consider adding some female soldiers as the Soviets seem to have so many in combat roles.
